Tyca Beaute ("we", "us") runs makeupartistry.nyc. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, book, call or message us, and how we use it.

What we collect

Bookings and messages. When you book, we receive your name, phone number, email, the service you pick and any notes you add. Acuity Scheduling handles bookings and deposits, and card details go to its payment processor, not to us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, contact details and message.
Calls and texts. When you call or text us, we see your phone number and anything you tell us.
How you use the site. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools that record the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location based on your internet address, and the page or ad that brought you here.

How we use it

To schedule, confirm and prepare for your appointment and answer your messages
To keep the site working, secure and easy to use
To understand which pages and services people look for
To measure our ads and show our ads to people who visited the site
To keep records the law requires

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run the business, listed below, when the law requires it, or if the business is sold or reorganized.

Services we use

These companies handle some information for us, under their own privacy policies:

Google Tag Manager, which loads our measurement tools
Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows us how the site is used
Google Ads, which measures our ads and can show them to people who visited the site
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which measures our ads and can show them to people who visited the site
TikTok, which measures our ads on TikTok and can show them to people who visited the site
Acuity Scheduling, which handles bookings and deposits
Instagram, which shows our photo feed on the page
Google Maps, which shows our location on the page
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and protects it from attacks

When you book, our server may also tell Google and Meta that a booking happened, so we can see which ads lead to bookings. Any contact details in that message are scrambled (hashed) before they are sent.

Cookies and your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site still works without them.
To stop Google Analytics on every website you visit, install Google's free opt out browser extension.
To manage ads from Google, visit My Ad Center.
To manage ads on Facebook and Instagram, open Ad preferences in your account settings there.
To manage ads on TikTok, open Ads in the Privacy section of your TikTok settings.

How long we keep it

We keep personal details only as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records, then delete them. Analytics and advertising tools keep their own data under their own settings.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will reply promptly. Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights over your data; contact us to use them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or system is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
